Bouquets: For an expensive look use few blooms as opposed to doing a whole bouquet. Consider using paper, cloth, buttons as additional accessories to make your wedding bouquet look more glamorous.Have your bridesmaids carry single stems as opposed to a full bouquet..that way they can look pretty unique for the price of one bouquet. Choose flowers that have long stems to create a dramatic effect. Boutonnieres: For the men's boutonnieres go for a simple design. One with very few accessories or none at all. The groom's and groomsmen boutonnieres can be made of a single flowerhead, ribbon and a safety pin. Pew flowers: Instead of choosing the ornate flower stands for your aisle you can choose pew flower arrangements that are designed to fit the church pew. They cost less because you don't need to hire the stands. The pew flowers can then be used later on as part of the tent decor, or also as a floral ties for the drapery. Always remember if you want to save on floral arrangements re-use all ceremony flowers for the reception. Centerpieces Functional centerpieces are not only fun but creative and can save you on floral costs. When designing centerpieces ask your floral designer to give you leads. Functional centerpieces include color themed sweet bowls,or fruit arrangements. This are not only fun, unique but cost effective. Altar flowers & Corsages Want a memorable keepsake from your wedding? Have your floral designer design dried flower arrangements with interesting pieces like logs, twigs and fabric to complement your wedding color scheme. You can keep the dried floral arrangements to be displayed in your newly wed pad. For your mothers, the corsages can also be designed out of fabric and dried flowers and can be attached either to the ceremonial hats, clutch bags and can be re-used by the mums after the wedding. Car Decor For car decor, try stylish Styrofoam or manila monograms that can be designed by your graphic designer. A monogram of your initials and a little floral arrangement is all you need to make the bridal car look stylish and elegant. Beautiful budget decor tips: 1. Choose a beautiful venue that won't need a lot of floral decor. 2. Re-use floral arrangements i.e. those used in the church can be transferred and used for the reception. 3. Re-cycle. Always choose designs that can be used as keepsakes. Dried flower arrangements are ideal for this. 4. Avoid holidays and seasons like mother's day, valentine's day e.t.c. 5. Use fabrics, decor props and accessories which cost cheaper to complement your floral decor. 6. Shop for value packages i.e. tent & floral packages. Packages are offered at a discounted price thus saving you on your floral budget. 7. You floral budget should cost between 6-10% so budget wisely.
