Now from my wedding planning experience, i have seen that alot of
couples who have modest weddings spend within the range of
kshs250,000-Kshs 300,000. Infact this the average wedding budget.
A modest wedding budget however needn't be in that range. I would
suggest to any couple that prior to your wedding planning that you
should sit down and discuss with your partner, how much you are both
comfortable with spending.
I have seen weddings where people even spent kshs 50,000. So do not
feel pressured to spend a large sum.
Is it possible to have a beautiful wedding on a small sum. Yes it is!
All you need to do is to ensure that you have invited a good guest
count that can comfortably be catered for. Infact invite only your
close friends. Select service providers who can give you a great
package. You can have a 2 in 1 wedding that is ceremony and reception
combined so that it can be short and you can serve bitings. You
can even make it a wedding cocktail where your guests will stand!!
